In the amusement and vending industry, Jon designed several vending and amusement applications, negotiated, and placed them into hundreds of regional indoor malls, international airports and many other high traffic locations. Jon has always enthusiastically studied the history of Americana, antiquities, and naturally, amusement and gaming devices. He has continually been intrigued with the craftmanship, mechanical and electro-mechanical inner workings, along with the cultural and historical aspects of it all. Ultimately, that launched into collecting, restoration, appraisal, authenticating, and mentoring fellow enthusiasts around the world.

Authored by Jon Torrence in 2017. The Torrence Collection Book is the commemorative initial publication in the upcoming book series of four. A beautifully illustrated hard cover coffee table book with 170 pages that jump to life with colorful eye-catching photography and descriptions. The book chronicles many of the rarest coin-operated machines and several of the only known examples during the early years of the world-renowned collection. The photo shoots occurred on location at Mr. Torrence’s ranch in Clovis, CA.
