Originally a 1939 Chevrolet coupe. Later in it's life, it spent many years as a drag racing 1939 Chevrolet coupe champion. In the 1990s it was commissioned Troy Trepanier. A year or so later, it was one of the best rides in the country. The frame is a custom Rad Rides by Troy in Manteno, IL. Modifications include boxed milled steel rails, tubular, reinforced, narrowed 10' in the rear. Chopped 1' by Sam and Chip Foose, windshield laid back 2', backlight leaned forward 2'. The door handles and trim were removed, the running boards and fenders were reshaped and channeled 3'. The engine is a 1967 Chevy V8 with 327 displacement, along with Troy's custom air-cleaner package. The transmission is a B&M Turbo 350.
The paint was done by Bob Tanner, including the purple. silver, and black graphics. The wheels are a set of one-off Boyd Wheels. On the inside, prepare yourself for a Kip Kuiper stitched caramel interior and custom-built seats. Boyd Coddington supplied the steering wheel. A 1200-watt, Pioneer head unit & CD changer, Orion amps and 12 Orion speakers, Vintage air conditioning with a Sandan 508 compressor.
